Message	How many things could fail on a stock setup and cause instantainous loss of oil pressure? With the setup you describe the number probably more than doubles and most of the additional failure points are external to the motor. as far as heat goes, all the oil in your motor is essentially the same temp (except maby turbo returns). you just need to remove heat to keep the temp stable and in a reasonable range. As i sees it the only down side to the stock setup is that it bleeds away some flow that could provide higher oil pressure at low RPMs
